Aye, I feel you'd be better off using one of the other marine +1 codexes for Deathwatch, the psyker thing isn't a great match.

Using the models is totally cool (I use some of them, GK have wicked models), but I don't think their rules would make for good deathwatch. If anything, Space Wolf rules might be better, with all their special weapons, split fire, etc. Though I still think Sternguard make for the best deathwatch rules; in truth, you wouldn't need to use allies rules, just paint and kitbash up the Sternguard as your Deathwatch.
