Hi. I recently started the IG and finsished a 2000 point army in 4 weeks. I got extremely bored with the standard Cadians and intend to paint Traitor Guard instead.I plan to do a mixup of Nurgle and Khorne. I'll post pics soon. Anyway, for all the traitor guard army players out there, would you mind giving me some tips lke some pics o your armies or some tutorials you've seen or are possibly your own?

P.S I'm a medium-level painter

Head swaps and color schemes are the best place to start.

For example pick up pile of zombie heads for Nurgle and chaos marauders for khorne.

My first GW army was plague guard with Catachan and zombie bitz. It would be easier now with bitzsites and 3rd parties like mantic.

Then paint them in a drab imperial color like grey and add bright chaos colors like red and green. Possibly make it look like ordinary uniforms being covered in blood or slime.

I did something like that with my BLOOD!zerker army to show them falling to chaos.

Here's some of mine:

I used a red oxide car primer to double as base coat:

& here are some basic troopers (the ones above being Blood Pact):

For these I used a yellow ochre car primer.

Heres some more WIP models using the FW & Maxmini bits:

Hope it helps! More images in my gallery.
