Hello!
I've been meaning to build a Daemon army for a while now, but haven't got further than buying kits. I have a lot of stuff to build, and the new Codex release is a perfect push to get me started.
I have an iPad. It's awesome (sorry, haters). The new Codex is available in both hardback and iBook form. Which should I get?
A few facts about my gaming:
1) I only play at home / a close friend's house.
2) I use my iPad a lot for
40k at the moment (Army List pdfs etc)
3) My other two armies are Vanilla Marines and Necrons. I have hardcopy Codices for both, but have been tempted to go digital a number of times, only holding back because it was duplication of resources.
I'm looking for info on the iCodex's ease of use. I find loading times for larger multi-page PDFs a right pain in the backside, but I like the idea of polished interactive content. I'm pretty sure I don't want both. However, I'm also happy to buy iCodices for my marines and necrons if the experience is worth it. And yes, I love it that all my armies have this option already
Any opinions appreciated. Unless you're of the "I'd go with the hardback because OMG APPLE SUX BALLZ" camp, of course. Those guys need a lie down and a biscuit.
Cheers!
Craig
