New Forged In Battle releases:

I don’t know what it is with FIB but they seem extremely reluctant to promote their new releases. These appeared on their Facebook page yesterday but I’ve seen them nowhere else sense. Not even a mention on TMP.

Anyway these look lovely. Not sure about pricing yet, but the artillery and Anti-tank gun packs are a about £10 per blister from experience.

I would expect the 105mm Artillery maybe to around the price of the British 25lb Artillery, possibly cheaper as they don't have the Trailers, it's speculation but we shall see.

EDIT - Bought £30 worth of their Brit Para 6 pounders, really like them but the Carriage of the gun is extremely wide, didn't bother me overly I just bent it back to be narrower and fit on a BF- Medium base.

the 105 seems a little small but thats just my thoughts looks nice tho.

FIB do pak40s as well. Check their website. Not sure about Canadian suppliers, but if you know of any local to you who stock FIB they should be able to get the PAK40s in for you.

Maybe slightly off-topic, but Mwnciboo, how do the FiB paras compare to the BF british Paras? The BF ones seem to have pretty big heads, even for BF standards. I've looked everywhere for a picture of the FiB paras unpainted, but to no avail. FiB has really peaked my interest with their recent releases

Not seen them unpainted I'm afraid. I've got a large army of BF paras from the days before FIB ever existed. I've been temped on more than one occasion to E-Bay them and replace them with FIB miniatures.

I've gotten Britsh, German and US infantry from FIB and not been disappointed yet.

The prices have just gone up on their site. It's Just under a tenner of the artillery and anti tank sets except the 57mm which is £13 (but comes with 3 guns as opposed to 2).

The Tigers set is £13, which, when you consider a King Tiger from Battlefront alone is £13, is pretty good value for money. It's a shame I already have more Tiger IE's than I know what to do with.

I tell you what isn't bad from FiB, their Jeeps.




You get 4 for £10, although you can get them cheaper online with retail discount (about 10 - 20% so any where between £8 and £9). I kept the crew, but bought a set of Para-Jeep Crew from SKYTREX.



50 of these for £13.50 isn't bad value.

So for £50, I got 16 Jeeps and the Para-Crews (two whole Platoons of Jeeps!!!) . This is better value than the 7 for £24 especially now the platoon is 8. I've also got masses of Spares, 50 cal's and US and British Para transport models which I can put in US M3 Half Tracks, or CWT 15 trucks. The Lloyd Carriers are a good buy too.

I think I'll be getting some of those 105mm howitzers! Never hurts to have two platoons :-D

Mwnciboo... How do the FiB jeeps scale up to the BF ones? I always thought they looked a bit too long!

I've got some FIB and BF jeeps. They look fine nest to each other.
