I have built this list up based around 80% of the Marines that I have built now but I was wondering what if any suggestions people might have to improve / change this list:

I run the Land Speeders as a squadron of 3 (Tempest as the leader) , the Baals run around with the Deimos and Vindicator to blast away at harder targets.

HQ

Blood Angels Librarian: 130 points
Terminator amour with storm bolter and force sword.

Elites

Assault Terminator Squad: 200 points
1 Terminator Sergeant with Lightning Claws.
4 Terminators with Lightning Claws.

Assault Terminator Squad: 225 points
1 Terminator Sergeant with Thunder Hammer and Storm Shield.
4 Terminators with Thunder Hammers and Storm Shields.

Tactical Squad: 170 points
10 marines with flamer and missile launcher

Tactical Squad: 185 points
10 men with plasma gun and plasma cannon

Baal Predator: 145 points
With twin-linked assault cannons and heavy bolter sponsons

I'll cut and paste my advice from a previous post. Get MM attack bikes. They are frickin awesome. Get a biker priest for FNP bubble as well. This list could even use a terminator priest.

I dont really like the way SM bikes look which is why I went for the MM Speeders.

I have a Termie Libby, if I swap him out for a Termie Reclusiarch it will take me over points so if I do that, what would be best to drop out or replace with a cheaper version?

All Terminators should have hammers and shields as loads better thanks to 3+ inv.

Your main problem is not enough troops. Ok you have two troop units which can combat squad but still 20 scoring dudes isn't enough. Ditch that Tornando, which I think you have the wrong points on and get some more troop numbers.

The Deimos and Vindie should always be taken in pairs, so pick your favourite and double up on it.

What about if I dtich the Deimos and then use the points for that on other stuff instead as I already have the two Baals as well.

You may not like the models, but they perform way better in 6th edition. Speeders are kind of garbage now.

hum, I may proxy some jet bikes for attack bikes then if they are really good.

They are. T5 W2, jink save, FNP save that is only negated by ST 10. You get two 5++ saves vs lascannon, darklance, plasma, melta, etc. They pop any ground tanks from 12" out and move 12" to boot.

Bikes are so good for BA that I now use these things and regular bikers with plasma. With an attached MM attack bike. AP2 goodness!

ahh ok, sounds like they are useful then.

Unless my maths is off, that leaves me about 20 points to play about it.

Wouldn't a force axe be better for your terminator librarian? Personally I would mix the TH/SS temintors up withe LC terminators just for some flexibility. Otherwise looks like a fairly solid list for the BA codex.

You still need another Vindicator. You have things in pairs for redundancy and target saturation.

New list is better, but still not enough troops and Clawnators are pretty poo.

It was based on what I have immediately to hand really (bar the attack bikes and Speeders). I wanted something that would be decent against my mates Necrons which I havent played against yet. I basically have the AoBR guys, two sets of the DV guys, the preds, a vindi, a trio of Razorbacks and a pair of Land Raiders (crusader and Ares).

What about dropping one of the Deimos and a LS and adding in another Tac squad with a flamer and missile launcher?
