Hey all, I was wondering if anyone's used these yet...

I was thinking of trying this method, although I am a digital artist I was going to create my own texture maps for terrain and mount them myself on my own board. But I'm not sure how well it would turn out. They mention using PVC printing.. I can't seem to find anyone locally that does this.

Any information would be grand, pictures especially! If this does look decent, I'd most certainly share any of the texture maps I create for my table with the community.

No sign-makers in your area? They're the ones best equipped to print on vinyl, as they make ad banners (only ever seen it called "vinyl" - not sure if it's actually PVC). If there truly aren't any around you (or one that could be emailed your design and ship to you, at a reasonable cost), I know that UPS Stores, FedEx/Kinkos, and the like have large-scale printers you could use - just not sure what all they can print on. Flexible plastic would be nice, as you can just roll your surface up when you're done, but if all else fails, I'd just use spray adhesive to mount normal paper onto MDF (cut down for easier storage, if necessary), then varnish over the top. I've seen the latter method used to good effect, before. Don't have handy links, unfortunately, but I've seen several Infinity tables done with printed boards and cardstock terrain, either here or on the official game forum. Might be worth a search.
