So putting together the new flyer for DA, but want to get some opinions on which one of the two styles is better.

Magnetise the weapons, and then you can use either one

Whichever one you think looks cooler on your display shelf. Neither of them are ever going to be worth using in game.

I plan to use a Nephilim with Avenger Cannon (which looks good) as a Vulture with 6 HK missiles and probably play the Cannon as TLAC
Not exactly the same of course, but it does look good and is then efficient

edit : sadly, Nephilim is "bad" and Talon is "terribad" except if used with pinpoint accuracy and timing along with good CC units, then becoming "quite bad"

the Best looking is the Nephilim i know its pretty as heck on my shelf.

I think the one that has all the pretty iconography would look nice on your desk.

Although, I can't really tell you which one plays better as I've never had to deal with any Dark Angel fliers harrassing my beautiful and lovely Heldrake. Wonder why...

I think the Nephillim is the more useful of the 2, however it isn't as cost efficient as the flyers in other armies.

Jet fighter! I've used it 2-3 games now and shot the crap out of troops and it's paid off. So what if its not as points effiecent as other armies, it's what we have and it works. So far the mega bolter set up is working better. My only wish about it is that the hurricane bolters on the dark talon could go on the nephilum, oh all of the firepower.

Ya think I'm goin to go with the jet fighter, it'll fit better with the build I'm doin.
