Dear all,

I have decided to start a marine army that will use the rules of the C: SM.

I have many options and I want you guys to help me to pick what army I am going to run.

It would be helpful if you state why you chose that choice.

In no particular order



i) Salamanders

ii) Crimson Fists

iii) Sons of Orar

iv) Imperial Fists

Personally I love yellow marines, so Imperial Fists.

However, paint them in whatever way you want and like.

I would go for the Salamanders, thier favourite wargear is currently the most effective loadout in an army (Melta, plas and flamer).
Plus, they're green and live on a volcano

You know just find a color scheme you like and give them your own fluff . Gives you complete creative control. Unless you wana go by the books salamanders are pretty rad.

Pretty much exactly what xcamdenx said. Unless you LOVE one of the specific chapter color schemes, just do a DIY chapter. Pick your own custom scheme. You can make your own counts as for each of the C:SM special characters you like, and run a large variety of lists. If you go pod-heavy you may like to alternate (or take both!) between Pedro and Vulkan.

If you are dead set on picking a chapter and running with it, I guess my vote is for salamanders. One of the more competitive choices, and its such a nice color combo.

Personally my marines shall be the salamanders because i love the color scheme and their fluff.
