so last year during the election season. My liberal views took over and I said Mean things towards a conservative moderator. This was on the Realms of Chaos which is a limited access politcal section of the Forum. I wasn't sorry for the things I said so they banned me from the forum. So I was asked by some friends if i was playing at OFCC this year. I stated I don't know. I missed last year because work had me out of the country and the previous 2 years the team, I was on, won best general.

Which made people mad that we went for best general as it is suppose to be a heavily comped event where every list needs to be pre approved. Overall is highly slanted towards painting so best general was something we could win.

Well, I asked the organiser how it would work since I am banned from the board. He didn't know so he asked the senate. The senate has ruled that a board ban means a ban from the event. It is typical PNW people running this board so my midwest attitude drives them nutty.

This year they added an open event on Friday since tables will be setup at the hotel any way. so I will swing down to Vancouver washington and win me the open while mocking the Ordo Senate.

The joys of 40k groups.

I am glad the northwest has Zen running events.

Why waste your time going to play at a place with people who have said they don't want you around?

I have played previous years there because lots of friends play at the event.

The point is just general rambling about an organization that puts together a big event in the PNW.

. err.. okay.

It'd be better if this was a bit more focused, say on plans for during tournament or ways to deal with a situation like this.

Sorry it seems you've been "blackballed" from the event, I'd suggest sending the organisers an email explaining the situation and seeing what, if anything can be done.

Please let's not have this turn into just a rant against X/Y/Z though or we'll have to lock the thread.

Good luck either way though !

Locking at OP request.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.
