Touching up an old project eventually I'll figure out what arms I want to put on him.

Are you looking for feedback or just posting it to post it?

I assume you want feedback since you took the time to post it, though I could be wrong since you didn't actually ASK for feedback.

If I assume wrong stop reading because I LOVE giving unsolicited feedback. Just ask the associates that work for me.

It's hard to tell a lot of the details due to the bluriness of the photograph but from what I can tell the paintjob looks fairly clean.

The big pink face reminds me of a monkey or chimp and makes it look out of balance since that color isn't repeated elsewhere on the model.

The fleshy bits and the carapace give the appearance on being the same kind of texture. I'm not sure if it's black with a stark highlight or if there's blending that's been lost to the camera though.

Overall I think your tyrant will look good on the table once you've finished the arms with the same level of detail.

Thanks I did want feedback. The carapace will be glossed when finished.
Not sure on the pink face it's actually flesh colored might be just different monitor color settings.

And sorry for the blurriness it's hard to hold the camera steady and is the only place I can get decent light until I get a lightbox built.

There will also be some other flesh colored parts when finished between the body, and the carapace. I may also extend it down the neck. It's sort of an ongoing project/paint scheme. I've been dabbling on this guy for years now.

The colours look pretty good, but too the cam is too choppy for me to judge anything.

imho. it looks good but.. the skin and the carapace are too similar for me. if you tried doing a gaunt with the flesh tone for its skin and that same carapace it might be nice.
