What is the biggest slug match game you have ever played? As in, of the games you have played have you ever played a game where both you and your opponent end the game with almost nothing left because you have been absolutely beating each other down.

My biggest slug match was with my buddy who plays Space Wolves. We both ended the game with less that 250 points worth of models(and this was from a 2500 point game). I think he had just a few isolated Grey Hunters and a single Terminator. I had a few Warrior/Immortal squads down to 2-3 men each left and a single, standard Necron Lord. The game was an absolute slaughter.

Game vs my friend Chaos SM.

He had 40 CSM, a Hellbrute and a Lord, I had 17 Grenadiers, 12 Engineers, a Hades Breaching Drill, a CCS and an Earthshaker Carriage.

At the end, there was the Carriage and the CCS left.

I had a game of the Relic at 2000 points where I finished with 2 Necron Lords legging it with the Relic. both died every turn, both reanimated and got a bit closer to the table edge every turn.

A proper Slug Fest I remember was when I took on 2 friends by myself with my entire Necron Collection. the game was somthing like 4000 a side at the start. they had between them a Monolith, 3 Broadsides and a Sally Dread. I had about 10 Warriors, a Lord and 2 Doom Scythes.

Apocalypse game, Green Tide versus Endless Swarm. We left part of the table devoid of terrain just so they could run into each other more easily.

Down-and-dirty slugging matches are what my Witch Hunter codex Sisters were best at.

I remember one particular 2000 point game against Vanilla Marines where after the shouting was done, all that was left on the board were a scout sniper in heavy cover and an Exorcists taking pot shots at each other across the board for two turns before the game mercifully ended with both models still standing.

My best one was the Emperor's Champion hacking, slashing and generally battering the snot out of 1,200 of guard on his own because the rest of my army had been annihilated.

Sweeping Advances are the best thing since sliced bread.

My Green Tide (300 boys, 2 Shokk Attacks, 20 Lootas, Def Dreds) - Just to see how many models I could get and see how good and army it made

Lots of charging and counter charging, really interesting dice rolls (I think between the two of us in like 2 turns, all the lootas were nearly gone from high number rolls)

Midfield Def Dred slugfest...

both of us ended with maybe a dozen models each - funny part - exact same kill points and objectives for a tie game....

Best (and longest) game ever

There was two Plaguemarines and two Epi's left alive at the end of the game. I won because I had my Epi in his deployment zone.

10 Chaos Terminators butchering 1600 of guard backed by Termi lord with dual claws and MoK in 5th, after the rest of he amry was dead or to far away to offer aid.

500 Vs. 500 butcher-session between my Horus Heresy Fists and some Tzeentch Chaos Marines. Between his AP3 Bolters and my Fury of the Legion, the game was disgustingly bloody.

Came down to a single Imperial Fist vs. a Two CSM. Wounded, killed one, and swept the other.

Nearly the whole store was around the table, and it got pretty wild when I rolled that sweep.

Just the other day my Aurtarch and Shadowseer slashing there way through 50 Guardsmen in 2 turns the the CCS and then challenged the Lord Comissar and then gunned down.
