Well, I have never really liked the GW Space Wolf color scheme. So I created my own rogue space wolf warband, led by Wolf Guard leader "Syndrome". Since this is not a fluff thread, I will not go deeper into that.
If you have an alternate Space Wolves color scheme, feel free to show me/everybody else what you've got!

My first post will be a Vindicator:

And finally, the general idea of my color scheme, not that the generator I used to create this picture absolutely lacks Space Wolf bits, so it looks a bit lame now. In truth, there are more gold ornaments, which exist in Space Wolves' models.

It seems you forgot the [img] tags inside the spoilers (or just used the wrong tag)

I don't have a wolfs scheme but i can comment on your scheme.

The color scheme looks nice and i like the small red areas next to the light grey. Those give the model more depth as just plain grey is a little bit boring.
But your battledamage looks a little bit to clean. Try to paint the edges a little bit more ragged and scratched. And the edge highlighting is a little bit to thick. If the red area on the front shield should be blood the edges could be more sharper and blotchy with drops around it. You could also add some tiny dark red painted chunks of Greenstuff to represent the enemies slammed to a pulp. And a coat of gloss vanish ('Ardcoat nowadays) would let the blood look more shiny and fresh.
And you should probably add another layer of paint on the ares where you painted over the boundaries (the red bleeds into the grey on some spots).

I am fairly new to dakka posting in its finest so forgive me for the formatting. I do think I should add some extra touch on my model, but as things are now I need new brushes (mine are utterly in a gakky condition now). Also, I have been thinking on getting a stippling brush for blotchier weathering work and all that.

I appreciate the criticism and comments.

At least you're painting your stuff and skill improvement can only be made while actually doing stuff. My CSM army has a finished paint count of zero models.

Well, my Night Lords have approximately... almost an entire squad, 5 Warp Talons and 5 Raptors painted. So not much. When it comes to painting I am the laziest person on Terra. Actually, I might just generally BE the laziest person on Terra...

Well to be honest i have 20 or 30 loyalist space marine models painted so you probably beat me.
But most of them need a serious rework.

Oh yes, I know how it feels when a model needs rework...
