A try at simple and semi competitive army list for TAC.
As stated, it has Nob bikerz in it.
Here is the idea. Every unit i have has a twin counterpart, ie, each unit is doubled, along with all options, upgrades etc. So the play is pretty simple.
2 units of Nob bikers with Warboss. Core choice:
Warboss, PK, Cybork Body, bosspole, 7 Nob bikerz (1xPK, painboy, 3x big Choppa, Bosspole, Cybork Bodies) 2x580 points.
2 maxed units of Ork boyz
29 Shoota Boyz (+Nob with Big Choppa an Bosspole, 3x big shoota) 2x215.
2x Dakkajet with additional suppashoota and Fighta Ace 2x130.
The tactics is pretty simple. Bikers charge towards what they can reasonably kill, absorbing damage and probably dying. Well, one unit is supposed to survive. Warboss is there to play shenanigans with LOS and absorbing ID hits. And ufcoure for killing.
Footsloging shoota boys follow bikerz to finish what they started. One unit should try to stay close to home field objective. Nob is there to give extra punch in CC if need arises. Also he will have Big Shoota for some funny precise shots.
Dakkajets will, well, absorb some damage. Wit. Absorb as in, being shot out of the sky and... Well, they will engage enemy flyers and hopefully remove some smaller scoring units from the field.
As stated, every units is doubled to the last item (except Warboss, there can be only one!).
What do i need to watch for?
What will put a serious dent in my plan (not that i have a serious plan)?
I realize the foot grunts are very slow and will have trouble catching up so the opponent can concentrate on Nobz. But Leaving 2x 30 Okrs reach your line is nothing to make fun of.
and i totally expect my Dakkajets to crash. I can try to destroy the units that can reasonably threaten them... wait, actually everyone can threaten Dakkajets so, yeah, they are more like one way ticket for the orcs...
Using trukks is an easy option because i do have the models. Using battlewagons, well, stil WIP, but could be done, i guess
