Deadly Dire Avenger

Maryland

I run an Iron Warriors army and wanted to let my Warsmith and Pneumachina priests have their way making a few flyers....

Here is Trident

This is basically a Stormtalon rear section, Valkyrie cockpit and a drop pod. The drop pod veins can move from Trident mode to "Face hugger mode".

Face hugger mode

The project has come to a crawl...not quite sure what direction to go with the top fin of the trident. It is looking like a shark fin...which might be the answer.

Here is Vengeance

This is a Valkyrie, a couple defilers and the nose turret from a Stormtalon. Plus a few other bits from an Ork Flyer kit.

The undercarriage.

The idea for "Vengeance" came from the Judas Priest album cover "Screaming for Vengeance". Still working on finishing touches. The pilot is losing a battle with the demon that is trapped inside.

More pics to come.

Very cool work! The trident in particular has a really nice feel to it. Looking forward to mire updates.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!
