Hey all
Some of you may have had a look at my first ever minis here
http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/506783.page

So, here are my second batch of Space Wolves minis, after learning from those first 3 and trying to alter technique etc

LONE WOLF (in terminator armour)

LOGAN GRIMNAR

WOLF GUARD DUDES

DREADNOUGHT

I think they came up alright, still aint got skin down but getting there.
The yellow markings on the WG guys is a bit messy I know, but that kinda works with a bit of fluff I came up with

Still much room for improvement, but I'm getting enjoyment from it

Looking good so far. Better than my first models. And you can clearly see that you improved over your first batch.
Logan is the best of the bunch. But sadly the paint on his bolter arm looks to thick.
The same goes for the dreadnought. Some areas looking good but others have too much paint on them.
You should thin down your paints even more. Especially the lighter colors like bone or white can be to thick very quickly.

And you might try an edge highlighting with another lighter color than the one you used.
Some of the faces could use another wash. And either shade/wash the eyes stronger or paint them with a black dot. You don't need to paint the eyes white before as this often let the minis look crazed with wide eyes.
If you can recreate the face on logan for the other guys and add a black pupil you're good to go.

Thanks dude
Logan does have issues with his bolter but a lot of that is the finecast itself, I didn't think it'd show to much once painted but I was wrong so I'm gonna clean that up later with liquid green stuff. Plus a metallic paint.
I started to realise what you said about the eyes so I'm not gonna bother trying to paint them any more, I'll try you advise on the next bunch
