Oh, that's really cool.

Only issue is that Night Lords aren't very friendly with Daemons, so having a Lord with Daemon wings feels iffy to me.

But other than that, it's pretty damn awesome.

yeah, it's a bit of a stretch, fluff-wise. to make matters worse, he and his raptor escort will be using the mark of khorne :p

He would look 10x better with a jump pack in my opinion.

This is pretty cool, I like the wings, it sets it apart from alot of other HQs.

well, if I ever change my mind about the wings it'll be easy enough to swap them for a jump pack instead. magnets are great

Personally I'm digging on the wings. Great job doing a Night Lords model! I especially love the modular bits.

Some are. The Night Lords aren't as pidgin-holed as some other Legions.

I'm really digging this model. I really like how well the lightning pops.

cheers that's good to hear about the lightning. I keep thinking that it doesn't stand out enough from the edge highlights, but I'm not sure how to make them brighter.

the force sword was an experiment with using ghost tints over a metallic base coat. I wasn't really sure what I was going to end up with here's the process I used:

- base coat with boltgun metal
- apply a thin coat of minitaire ghost tint purple to the upper third of the blade (airbrush)
- apply a thin coat of minitaire ghost tint blue to the rest of the blade (airbrush)
- gold detail was done with vallejo liquid metal old gold
- black oil wash over all the details

It's really nice, and I think the wings are awesome. In my opinion, aesthetic concerns trump fluff and realism concerns. The red wings really set the blue off nicely and make a nice visual "frame" for the model.

I think it looks wonderful, especially with the axe.

Looks good. I was planning on doing the same thing, a sorcerer with the possessed wings for a "counts-as" jump pack.

it's a super easy "conversion" and the possessed bits are very easy to find an ebay, etc.
