If you're twisting the bit with your fingers, wrap the bit in masking tape or something, or you'll be feeling it after awhile.
Another common size of magnets is 1/16"x1/32". It's mostly for troops, but it's what you'd use on a Rhino's doors/sponsons, as well (I don't play IG, so I've never magnetized any of their vehicles.)
If at all possible, magnetize during construction, and drill from the INSIDE of the pieces (so, if I were doing a Vindicator's extra armor, I'd drill from the cavity between the inner and outer walls -- ideally, unglued to make things WAY easier), so you don't have to fill holes, later.
And ALWAYS use the biggest magnet possible. It's stupid how much difference there is in pull between two 1/16"x1/32" magnets and two 1/8"x1/16" magnets. Four of the bigger magnets does the job of 6-8 of the smaller ones, as far as handling security goes.
