I'm looking for an Icarus Lascannon for my Aegis line. As far as I know, the only way to get a GW one is to buy a Bastion, which I'd rather not. I could convert something to be an Icarus cannon, but before I start I was wondering if there are any alternative model supliers who do something that makes a good stand in?

Ah thanks, didn't realise that had all the bits of the cannon on it. It is a bit pricey for what you get, but to be honest probably the best option I'm going to get other than building one myself, so thanks!

I picked up a gun carriage from Puppetswar and their version of a razorback TLLC for my Icarus. I think it works nicely as a stand in, and looks much more re-deployable than the ultra-static Aegis weapon mount.

If you have a TFC and didn't glue the gun in the Icarus lascannon fits in where the gun goes quite nicely. Of course you don't save any money with this one.

If you have a spare Lascannon bit just laying around you should be able to scratch something together using plasticard and extra bits. Always a good idea to save your bits.
