So, I want to try the bloodgorgers in a small game. I have a 35 point group and I was wondering if anyone can give me some pointers on what is the best way to utilize the bloodgorgers. Thank you.

I've used them (quite a bit) over the course of the Journeyman league. My thoughts;

--Always take a full unit if you can--as they will draw fire and you often need to drip feed a few to prevent a big alpha strike against the unit
--Gang is tough to get with medium bases with no reach. Don't be afraid to run one up, forfeiting your charge if it's between two models other models will charge. +2 to hit/damage is often needed
--Slaughterborn is obvious (which you already have taken)
--Denny can make any unit look good
--Stay away from other tough units if you can--it breaks Slaughterborns ability

Gerlack has a crush on the Blood Hag and tends to want to follow her around.

Would this be better then?

Warwitch Deneghra 5
Reaper 7
Nightwretch 4
Bane Knights (Leader and 9) 10
Bane Lord Tartarus 4
Bloodgorgers (Leader and 9) 8
General Gerlak Slaughterborn 3
Skarlock 2
Bloat Thrall 2

I'm trying to take advantage of the overtake/vengeance added mobility and have some range with the bloat and the reaper.

My opponent usually plays khador with some combination of winterguard/shocktroopers/doomreavers and a mortar crew.

I'd say drop the knights for Blood Witches and a Blood Hag.

Something like this perhaps:

35pts:
Warwitch Deneghra 5
Deathjack 12
Nightwretch 4
Bloodgorgers (Leader and 9) 8 10
General Gerlak Slaughterborn 3
Satyxis Blood Hags (Leader and 9) 6 10
Satyxis Blood Hag 2
Warwitch Siren 2
Skarlock 2
Necrotech 1

or:
Nightmare in for DJ -2pts
Pistol Wraith in for Necrotech +2pts
=35pts

I'm a huge fan of Machine Wraiths as your 1pt filler option. They're really good in scenario play as objective grabbers/contesters and if they can actually pull off their possession trick that's even better.
