Has anyone taken the crosses away from Death Company armour? I'm completely new the Green stuff if that is the answer so please talk me through it! any options would be welcome.

I want to use their fantastic armour and weapons for my BA sucessor army, but want the crosses to be unqiue to the death company, so no just painting it differently!

TIA

It looks like the outline of most of the crosses could be carefully filled in with liquid green stuff on legs and heads. For bolters, backpacks, and shoulderpads, you may be better off just replacing the offending pieces with standard tactical/assault marine parts.

Milliput may be a better option, or milliput milk. I've had better luck filling gaps with it, if I think I'll need to sand later.

I would also suggest milliput as gapfiller. It is cheap, you get a lot of it and if you overfill the gaps a little you can easily sand them smooth after the putty has hardened.
