I didn't realize this was released in '89. It's older than I thought (I was thinking it was '90 or '91). It's crazy (and awesome) how a game like Duck Tales can still be relevant over 20 years later.
Not really a fan of the series, but the gameplay looks solid enough.
The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

Didn't play this one, just looked at video of a gameplay.
What makes this the greatest game?
It just looks like the idea is: jump on enemy / chest / treasure and not much else. Something I'm missing or is it just greatest for it's time thing?
Good things are good,.. so it's good

I seem to remember it being a bit more in depth than your typical gameboy game as well. You could just power through and finish the game like Mario or whatever and get an ok ending, however to get a better ending you needed to hunt through the game to find all the hidden err... I want to say medallion pieces, to get the good ending.

Disappointed.
.
Didn't that win awards for it's deep and meaningful story?

I found the new BG: Enhanced Ed. more than a little disappointing. Lots of bugs on release (which was late) and no real extras that you couldn't get before with mods.
