One thing I really enjoy about Dakka Dakka is that some people get really REALLY defensive over one specific primarch, I am the same so no judgment from me (I wonder if you can tell which one...?).
Who do you think has the most fanboys, people who literally think the sun shines out of their massive human/warp lab grown poopers.... ?
This is not about who your favourite is, or who will win in a royal rumble, or who can jump the highest. Specifically who you think has the most militant fans...

Haha Russ is already winning, people simply refuse to believe he isn't the toughest, strongest or smartest of the primarchs, 1 on 1 he was beaten by angron, could not kill lion and needed help to kill Magnus, and still people think he was the best lol

Yeah Russ was beaten up by Lion so now every space wolf needs to challenge a Dark Angel to a fight whenever they meet. And the Space Wolf characters are even fan-boyish in the books, in one of them they try to find a spear that Russ may have touched

the Lion, I'mean his fanboys refuse to accept that he is a sociopath (maybe traitor) and that Curze would kill him if the backstaber didn't intervene.... and also he was named after gay poet so every SW fan need to remind DA of their origins...

ADB: I showed the Wolves revealing the key weakness at the heart of the World Eaters; showing Angron that his Legion was broken and worthless compared to the others; that he was the one primarch who couldn't trust his own warriors, and that they didn't care if he lived or died; showing that loyalty to brothers and sons is the heart of success for the Legiones Astartes, to the point even Lorgar makes a big deal out of saying the World Eaters and their primarch were massively outclassed by Russ, and Angron was too stupid to see the lesson Russ had sacrificed time, sweat, and blood, to teach. We're talking about a battle the Wolves won, by isolating the enemy general through pack tactics, and threatening to kill him, without a hope of defending himself. It was a balance, 50/50 - Angron overpowered Russ, and the Wolves were losing ground to the World Eaters; but Russ and his warriors had Angron by the balls, and barely broke a sweat. They won, no question. Lorgar even says: "The Wolves won, meathead."
Dorn won’t help you either. He’s too busy being the Emperor’s groundskeeper, hiding behind the palace walls. The Wolf is too busy cutting off heads as our father’s executioner, while the Lion holds on to his secrets, and has no special fondness for you. Who else will come? Not Ferrus, certainly. Nor Corax either. Even as we speak, I suspect he flees for Deliverance. Sanguinius?’ Curze laughed cruelly. ‘The angel is more cursed than I. The Khan? He does not wish to be found. So who is left? No one, Vulkan. None of them will come. You are simply not that important. You are alone.’ Konrad Curze to Vulkan

Russ - He wins every single poll, no matter what it's about.
Fastest, Strongest, Best Beard, Most like Chuck Norris - whatever the poll Russ will win.
Personally, I agree with Darth Marko. But Russ is going to win regardless.
Did I mention Russ will win?

Russ fanboys deserve some mocking too...

The three SM that have their own codices, barring BT, seem to have fanatical devotees to their Primarchs. Fans of Russ, the Lion and Sanguinius, for the most part, refuse to believe that their Primarch is anything but #1 top guy, saviour of the Universe and better than the Emperor himself.
Check B&C, you'll see what I mean.
For the record though, I'm a staunch supporter of Guilliman.

The Khan, ofcourse.
On a more serious note, Leman Russ. Atleast onn dakka. He wins every poll here.
'Wich primarch is the smartest?'
'The best tactician if the Primarchs?'
'The most sober Primmarch?'
'The most secretive primarch?'
'The best sworddsman of the primarchs?'
'The siege master of the Primarchs?'
Even though he is a brute, drunken, shouting person, he''ll win everything anyways. It's annoying, really.
Now, as for who I'm a fanboy for?
None ofcourse! I am Alpharius, btw.

We should do a new poll - no questons, just one answer we can tick that say's Russ. I'm surprised Curze has got as few votes as he has. The 'Batman' of the primarchs seems to get a fair amount of support normally.

As long as they stop killing off loyalist primarchs. We KNOW Sanguinus is dead, Mannus is dead, Dorn is 99% chance of being dead, Guilliman is close to dead if not truly dead.
Only Vulkan, Khan?, Russ, the lion and Corax are not confirmed as dead or practically dead.
For the love of god stop killing off loyalist primarchs. It should at least be balenced so we can speculate wildly as to how 40k would end as opposed to chaos having a fairly clear advantage.

The advantage is supposed to be slanted toward the favor of the Imperium's enemies. That is what makes it the grim darkness of the 41st Millennium.

He lost a lot of 1 v 1 fights against other Primarchs because he just wasn't as agile most of the time. He has a lot of brute force, but Angron and the Lion are both better fighters. You make Russ pissed and unleash him into a crowd of his enemies and heads are gonna start flying though
Plus wolves. 'nuff said
