Unfortunately, the only way to get ahold of them are in the Carnifex kit, AFAIK. You can find them sold separately on ebay, but TL Devourers are a hot item right now, so they tend to get snatched up.

In the kit do you know if you get one or 2 sets of them?

There's only one set in the Carnifex box.

A good conversion I see around is using the Tyrannoexes Fleshborer Hives.

This has the benefit of not requiring any conversion to get two Devourers on one arm, or looking overly silly with the legs as Devourer arms.

Just slap those arms on the Hive Tyrant, done.

It's very easy to turn the MC deathspitter arms you get in the Carnifex kit into devourers by chopping off the barrel and gluing on an infantry sized devourer.

I have a peanut allergy. It's really inconsiderate.

The downside to this is the infantry sized Devourers have the Termagant hand sculpted to it, so you need to do even more work cutting and filing the hand off and sculpting that part back up so it doesn't look terrible.

No you don't, just chop it before the hand.

I just made a bunch by cutting up extra heavy venom cannon and stranglethorn arms and attaching regular devourers. Just had to use a little greenstuff and I was good to go!

It was fun. Give it a shot!

It'd be awesome if you lived down the road from me as i could lug you a spare set. idk why they are popular now, a few months back i was thought of as "mad" for using them on a carnifex and also on a hive tyrant...oh how things change. also simply remove the cannon part not the weapon arms, glue smaller barrel to them. after all it isn't specializing in them like a carni/terrorfex does.

I snipped off the bottom claw of some crushing claw arms then heated the top part of the claw up with a lighter and carefully shaped the top claw part into kind of a cone shape for mine. It didn't turn out perfect, but doesn't look too bad after some paint.

The problem then is it doesn't look anything like the normal MC Devourer. It looks, funnily enough, like a Deathspitter with a Devourer front. Might not bother some, but that kind of inconsistency bugs the gak out of me.

I used the Devourer barrel on Deathspitter base technique and thought it looks okay, I don't hold my modelling to a very high standard though.

Plus, what else are you gonna do with those MC Deathspitters, currently there is no reason to take them over the Devourers.
