Hi fellow players
have just finished converting a carnifex to use as a looted wagon with boomgun
what i wanted to know is in the codex it says "may take any of the following "
on the looted wagon entry for upgrades
can i take more than one wreckin ball
i know this is a bit of a long shot and is twisting the words but a looted carnifex with a
red paint job,12"move,+2 range for wreckin ball and 4 wreckin balls could be pretty sweet (or very cheesy)
can i do this

I'm pretty sure you cant buy upgrades more than once unless is says specifically that you may

Yeah, with things like shootas it says may take up to two. But with the other upgrades it's "take any of the following [list]"

It would say if you were allowed more than one. And while I think a lootifex with four wrecking balls would be hilarious and awesome, it just isn't allowed

Added: I would personally allow that in a friendly game, because it seems perfectly orky. However, why don't you just use it as a deff dread? You get better armour, you can fight in close combat, and running and charge range almost makes up for the speed you lose.

It wouldn't do any good if you could take more of them, since you get the attack for the vehicle having a wrecking ball, not for each wrecking ball.

Same situation as Nobs and Waaagh! Banners... you get the benefit for having them in the unit, but no additional benefit for extras.

also at the moment playing a campaign have 125pts to spend before my next game
dont know if i should take 3 deffkopters with 2 rokkits 1 big shoota or a looted wagon with boom gun and ard case
mostly playing against space marines can see the benefits in both, but worried the looted wagon is just saying kill me first turn,
what would be your choice

You should totally model a "pair" of wrecking balls for your lootafex.

i did that for my converted phantom titan.... converted it to be dark eldar, and used a pair of orc wrecking balls in a ... strategic location....

i also painted them brass.

but back on topic, im pretty sure vehicle upgrades are only once... else i would have multiple pintle storm bolters, smoke launchers, deffrollas... and so on.
