Dear dakkites,

I'm painting up a pack of Ork Stormboyz and have posed them in various states of flight, but they do look a wee bit silly with their rockets all.... turned off.

Does anyone make flames or jet blasts that would fit the exhaust ports of these guys? I'm looking for something modest, about an inch (roughly) in length maybe? And something that wouldn't take too much effort to fit into their tailpipes (e.g., I first looked at those exhaust plumes from the Dystopian Legions sky hussars, but they look like they might take some work to fit, and they're hu-u-uge!)

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

I play...

Sigh.

Who am I kidding? I only paint these days...

Tadaaaa

another option would be paperclips and green stuff but that requires a bit more work.

Or just attach a piece of wire in the rocket, glue clump foliage to it, saturate it with white glue until it's hard, then paint as smoke and flames.

I second Ifurita's method. It gives great results. Also some genius pointed out that if you get the autumn variant of tge foliage, you don't even need to paint the flames

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!
