Hi all,
I'm searching for stuff to put on my bases in the chineze/asia style.
Something like this:

The lantern and shrine are pretty easy to scratch build - plus you can adjust the size and style more easily. I know I have seen a few of those from some of the Japanese model RR companies as well in 1/50 scale - HLJ or 1999.co.jp should have them.

For the foo dog statue, Reaper and I believe Black Hat Miniatures both make a couple foo creatures (dog and lions).

The bonsai tree can be handled easily either all from scratch or by taking something like a dollhouse scale serving dish (1/4" scale or some of the smaller 1/2" scale items) and an N scale model tree armature from a company like Woodland Scenics. Twist it up pretty good, paint and add the clump foliage to simulate the cloud topiary style.

You will also probably find more than a little bit of window dressing from major historical miniature suppliers like Old Glory or Eureka Miniatures.
