Did you even read that? Because your comment seems to suggest you didn't.

Well, I think children is a good description of Cyberbunker. Not so much spamhaus, but I don't think that's who it's aimed at.
Ye, my connection slowed right down. I don't know if it was related, but allot of people need to grow the feth up online. A business that try's to claim some legitimacy DDOSing other company's... Sheesh. I hope they get torn a new on by the relvent authorities.

I'm... I'm not quite sure you understand the situation.
Cyberbunker does rackspace, hosting, etc. They do not appear to be largely concerned with what they are hosting. This is both good and bad, for various reasons, but it's a policy that makes them inarguably free from regulation or censorship. They appear to be committed to keep people online, and have zero interest in what people are doing. They are not the ones committing the DDOS attacks anymore than the trunk providers between one country to the next are responsible for passing the traffic along. For an analogy, you're accusing the phone company of "acting like children" because me and a bunch of my friends thought it would be funny to all call your phone repeatedly to harass you. Your attitude toward the situation is appropriate, but it's directed at the wrong people.
Philosophically, Cyberbunker seems to have a good policy in my mind. I don't hold a gun manufacturer responsible for what the user does with the gun. I don't hold an automobile manufacturer responsible for what the user does with the automobile. I don't hold datacenters responsible for what their users do. That's between the state and the individual who takes that action.

This is a pretty interesting series of developments. I mean, how often does this sort of thing directly effect that many people with political power? By which I mean us lucky first worlders.

I understand how hosting works thank you very much...
"Spamhaus has alleged that Cyberbunker, in cooperation with "criminal gangs" from Eastern Europe and Russia, is behind the attack."
Spamhaus seem to thing it is cyberbunker at least in part doing the DDOSing.
