What's the best weathering pigment to use? Thinking about MiG. There are so many different kinds.

Best powder is like best paint, best car or best mixed drink...

There isnt a best. Some do some things better that others, but by and large they all have strengths and weaknesses...and special uses.

I have been switching from MIG to AK as the old designer for MIG is the current designer for AK and...well...listen to him

Some pigments are crap some are good.

By reputation from modelers and competitors.

MiG does make good stuff.

Personally I use Secretweaponsminiatures but it's a personal choice.

I'm using artist chalk and heavy diluted oil paints for such effects. Works wonders and is used in a lot of WWII 1:35 modeling duties.
