I'm planing on kitbashing possessed with warp talon bits to create really demonic looking ones. Looking at the winged possessed backpacks i got the idea of adding actual demonic wings to the jetpacks instead of those small wing bits that are supposed to go there. But i don't want those wings to be mono-posed.

My current favorite are tyranid gargoyles. And i know that there are bat wings in the DE scourge box. But are there other wings out there that would fit onto marines preferrably cheaper than buying a whole box of gargoyles just for the wings? (Which to be fair isn't that expensive)

And also what do you think of the idea in general?

Even the ones provided by places like Micro art etc will end up being costly, with price + shipping etc.

Gargoyles are the best bet, being plastic, allows alot more room for conversion and support, with balancing and keeping the wings in place compared to metal and less degree resin.

I've never thought about the material of 3rd party wings. Beeing plastic is another advantage of those gargoyle wings. I'll probably go with them.
So thanks for bring that to mind.
