Ok, so decided to save loads of money by making my khorne flesh hounds out of warriors of chaos hounds. The problem is that the box does only come with the square cavalry bases and i intend on using them for 40k. So do i need to get either the round ended cavalry bases or the 40mm terminator bases for them, as i don't remember what kind of bases do beasts usually use (don't have any beasts in my other armies). Or would it be just fine to use the square bases?

The normal hound bases are the same as the actual flesh hound ones.
So no problems there.
Great sculpts, but 3x the price of warhounds, so not worth it IMO.

in 40k bases dont do much as it does in fantazy. ive seen some players with full army of square bases, i dont mind and i think many others wont either. the goood thing is then you can start fantasy aswell

But doesn't the finecast flesh hounds box come with round bases too that are intended for 40k? I can get the round bases no problem, but would like to know if the normal beast base is the 40mm terminator base?

Flesh Hounds use the same bases Seekers do in 40k. They are also shared by space marine bikes iirc. Their dimensions are approximately the same but they have round edges as all 40k bases do. If you are worried about using square bases in 40k be aware that RAW flesh hounds must use the bases they come with, this includes the square edged ones and the round ones.

So no, terminator bases are not a legal base size to put them on. They use 25x50mm bases not 40mm ones.
