saving myself the time of searching through all the rules and updates ill just ask you guys,

is there a change in the rules which allows the terminator command squad to be equipped with lightning claws or thunder hammers instead of the usual storm bolter set up?

Does the codex allow it?
Do the faq's give that allowance if the codex doesn't?
Have you read the forum rules that say this isn't a replacement for having the books?

Or to put it a little more politely: No, the FAQ does not alter the weapons options in their codex entry.

That's what I do.

Top of my head, I think Templar command squads are just shooty terms (same pts + options) with a pwr wpn sergeant thrown in.

The sergeant can take options from the armory, making lightning claws or th/ss a possibility

it was more of a "i'm in work and dont carry my codex in my back pocket" and i wasnt sure if there was a codex update i may of missed, thanks for all the answers
