How does an airsoft gun shaped like a grenade launcher work exactly?

Basically, the grenade is filled with 10-12 tubes you load with bb's, and then you fill it with gas. When you pull the trigger, the gas is released, and forces the bb's out. Think of a giant shotgun shell.

So its like those hornet shells or whatever they're called from the real M79. That was this weird metal shell you loaded a bunch of 22lr into and it fired them all at once like a giant shotgun. I'll have to find a video of it tonight.
