I'd be tempted to drop the Daemon Prince and go with Bloodcrushers. I think the Daemon Princes are too expensive for what you get.

Imagine this: Bloodcrushers with an icon run up fast 'cause that's what they do. Bloodletters deepstrike near the crushers. You want to get these units into assault as soon as possible. Especially the bloodletters.

Just my two cents

Don't get bloodcrushers, there are really expensive and fragile, which is never a good combination.

The bloodthirster is a good HQ but if he flies alone he'll get shot down, and the Daemons Princes of khorne aren't that good imo, since they don't have extra attacks and can't be psykers, means that they'll stick to their T5. If you field a CSM Daemons Prince along with those 2 that might be another story since then there are 3 flying target which will charge on 2nd turn and the CSM one can go Tzeentch/Nurgle and roll 2 powers on biomancy looking for iron arm.

That being said, I've been going myself with a herald + 20 bloodletters as allies and have worked great, they are cheap, usually arrive via deepstrike on the back or near an enemy side objective, sure lots die due to bolter fire but the ~10 + Herald that make it to combat destroy Sv3+ units.

If you want to go fluffly I'd grab a herald of nurgle and plaguebearers to sit on an objective behind terrain while the herald buffs your CSM units (with psy powers)

Death guard army?

Get a unit of plague bearers or nurglings, a unit of 9 beasts of nurgle and then whatever HQ you like. Gives you a really tough scoring unit and a deadly melee unit that's tough as rusted nails.
