So I'm looking to place a fairly large order with Gifts For Geeks. Their savings are pretty good and their website looks nice and professional. So, a fairly simple question from me, are they a good choice? What experiences have you, my fellow dakkites, had with them? And, if they are indeed, worse than a Tau with BS 0, what other independent retailers would you recommend? All bearing in mind, of course, that I'm in the UK and aren't particularly willing to pay expensive overseas shipping fees and/or wait a long time for overseas orders. Thanks in advance!

Gifts for geeks are a decent outfit, nice deals and a longish history (as tinternet games stores go).
You could also try 4tk gaming if you want a stand up online games store with good deals outside of the usual biggish usual suspects.

Cool, thanks for the replies guys. Also just realised this has been posted in the wrong forum. I'll PM a mod to move it...

By all reports they're good, but this should probably be in Discussions rather than News & Rumours.

I've ordered from them once, and it came within a couple of days. No complaints there.

I'll admit that I've only ever ordered from them once, but my order arrived quickly & well packaged.
I can't remember what discount or deal I got, so can't comment on that, but I would certainly buy from them again.

I've used them a couple of times with no complaints but it's always worth checking out Darksphere as well. They're a London based outfit with some very good/competitive internet prices and on average come out a quid or so cheaper than G4G.
Enjoy shopping around.

They're a nice bunch, and they have a pretty decent bricks-and-mortar shop in Leicester too. I've never had any problems with them. Dark Sphere are also worth a look though, if you're aiming for best possible price & just as good customer service & delivery times. I think right now those are the only 2 places I'd be likely to buy from online...

Used them a couple of times online. Perfectly decent job. I didn't actually know they had a b&m presence.

Yeah, they have a few gaming tables. I get to it about once a year. Friendly bunch. They often have a few bargains too -- stuff with battered boxes or whathaveyou that doesn't make it to the online shop.
