I was thinking to deep-strike them net to their tanks with double melta do as much damage as possible and see if they survive to kill it. They will assult anyone inside and the champ rips through armour with a power sword. What do you think?

I've done so a lot of times but mostly it costs me the raptor unit, since it's not really hard enough to kill. I'd rather use a termicide squad for this purpose, as it has a lot more survivability for almost the same price and with PM they are S6. It's a one-trick pony, but I believe that it's better to use an elite rather than the awesome fast attack slot for this tactic. If I'm not DS, however, the raptors can close down a substantial amount of the board as they have a good threat range with the meltas.

Problem with deep strike melta is leaving them in a tight blob for any passing plasma cannon to give a pasting.
I do think raptors are underated. The HoW attacks on high Iniative units (think small eldar units viz banshees) is priceless and the fear can really work in their favour. Also got good speed across the board and re-rolls for charge ranges which is good with the transports being neutered in the 6th ed.

I agree that terminators are better deep strikers. Raptors should be cover jumpers.
Small anti tank squad works well.

I like raptors but id only run them with a jump Lord (dual LC for preference) and aim for pesky units that could be a problem. Avoid elite units but heavy weapons teams or troops in cover wouldn't stand a chance

Terminators accomplish the tasks the OP described better for similar (well, cheaper with the powersword) cost.
Pros
1. Cost less
2. Shoot more melta
3. Have better armor
4. All carry powerweapons
5. Have invulnerable saves
6. Don't take a fast attack slot
7. Threaten tanks in close combat (powermauls!)
Cons
1. Aren't as fast after the deepstrike
2. Have 2 less models
3....
Its a tough call. I'd consider them if I was using all of my elite slots for other things... which I don't do. Or, even though this is a tactics thread, I would consider them because I love the models. Or if I have a jumppack Lord... but he can hide in terminators if needed.

I run a squad of Raptors for fun because I converted them and I want to field them. I run them with Mark of Slaanesh and an Icon of Excess and put a jump pack sorcerer in the squad.
I would probably be better served with a Biker squad as a body guard, because of the tl bolters, and toughness 5, but i like the Raptor models... Its just hard to justify raptors when bikers are so cheap right now and perform a similar role.

In a cheap world, without the auto-include of Heldrakes, perhaps...
5 - man w 3 plasma pistols - 140 points of dual purpose love... they can hide behind rhinos or landraiders to pop out and shoot rear/side armor of tanks or shoot up some MEQ/TEQ. 12" means it can make the enemy decide to engage or ignore... Meltas, while more deadly, mean you need to get within 6" to drop tanks... there is no problem with an enemy moving 6" even if in the wrong direction.
5- man w 2 Flamers + Power Maul.. medium anti-tank and awesome antii-GEQ. 120 points...
The problem for me is comparing it to 3-bike units... sure 2 less wounds but all T5. So 115 for the plasma setup.... 95 for the dual flamer + power maul setp... So unless you know you are going to be dealing with multi-level buildings and lots of terrain, I would save the points and field the bikes.
I would agree that bikes and raptors fill a different purpose than termicide so there is a reason to take them but there are few reasons to take raptors over bikers.

The sad thing is that raptors got cheaper and could be more useful than in previous editions but suddenly the fast slot was filled with great units, spawns, bikers and heldrakes are pretty good which leave the raptors without a slot. However if you are going for fluff/cool models as many mentioned go for tank hunters, either deepstrike or jumping from cover.
Whenever I feel more fluffy with my night lords I field a 15 man squad, champ with meltabombs and power sword with 2 meltas MoN and fearless icon OR attach a jump lord with them (he usually goes with warptalons thou, i know they suck but I'm sure any respectable Night Lords army should have at least one squad of these).

Raptors got cheaper and better. Bikes got MUCH cheaper and MUCH better. With VotLW on both, bikes are only 2 points more.
