Been Around the Block

Hello Dakka,

I'm currently building my Army and need Kombi-Weapons for my Terminators. Is there a good guide available to build them myself or are there buyable versions around.

I hope someone can help a newcommer like me^^

Welcome to Dakka!

There are a couple of companies selling combi-weapon kits:

Chapterhouse Studios: http://chapterhousestudios.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=85_113

Anvil Industry Miniatures: http://www.anvilindustry.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=276

Good luck!

The secret to painting a really big army is to keep at it. You can't reach your destination if you never take any steps.

I build IG...lots and lots of IG.

For terminators the easiest way is to get a normal storm bolter or combi-bolter and replace one of the bolter muzzles with the appropriate special weapon muzzle. You could also add pipes or cables as appropriate if you want a bit more detail, but its the muzzle that will really identify the weapon to your opponent.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Good idea, Flinty!

I guess it depends on the quality of his bitz box and/or access to more melta gun, plasma pistol, and flamer bits.

Forge World do combi weapons for terminators, but you only get two per pack, along with other weapons. Depending how many you need, doing it this way could get expensive fast.
