I am one of the few orks that i know of that actually DOES use Ghazzy from time to time. Reason being, i find him a very reliable anti-MC as he can take out 1 sometimes 2 per game since he is immune to instapaste from smash attacks.

Normally i run 5 MANz in a trukk with him, keep them in reserve, and on turn 2-3 they zip across the board (usually losing said trukk but theyre already pretty close) and cause chaos whether they get to assault next turn or still need to hoof it some more since its a very nasty 2+ deathstar in the middle of the table suddenly.
Those 5 MANz tend to not do much unless i fork off and send Ghaz on his own. That rarely happens since theyre both SNP and usually the only thing close enough to charge is what Ghazzy is after as well. So i thought about bringing normal nobz and a Painboy to buff Ghazzy even more by giving him FNP.

But then i thought: FNP is denied by attacks that would cause instant death. But Ghazzy cannot be instapasted. If he his hit by a str10 does he still get FNP since he has a skull with thicker adamantium plating than my glasses are thick (which is pretty thick)?

on the forum. Obviously

He doesn't get it.

FNP is denied by attacks that would cause instant death.

The fact that ghazzy has a special rule that makes him immune to ID doesn't matter.

As above, also covered in the FAQ:

Q: If a model has the Eternal Warrior and Feel No Pain special rules, can it still make Feel No Pain rolls against Wounds that inflict Instant Death (Eternal Warrior states that the model is immune to the effects of Instant Death, after all)? (p35)
A: No.

Answered in the BRB FAQ. Link is in my sig. If you cannot access the GW site at the moment (i've heard rumours it's down) the answer is no, you do not get FNP.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Its because ordinance is still a word.
However, firing ordinance at someone isn't nearly as threatening as firing ordnance at someone.

Ah, drat. Thanks though, and yea i cant get on the GW website for some reason.

Still seems like a viable tactic to me since somehow i doubt he would limit his attacks to 2-3 attacks that ignore FNP instead of his normal 4-6 that make me take 2 5+ saves for each wound. Not to mention random dakka while im running around.

I'm not sure why people are having trouble getting into GWs site. I can access it just fine - both US and UK.

biker warbosses are t6, so they are the ork go to for getting fnp no matter what

well, barring force weapons ID, but thats what ghaz is for lol

I like running ghaz + a biker boss in a squad, that way no matter what challenge comes up, the orks win
