After reading through the book i think im going to be running a bunch of these but would rather not pay an arm and a leg, any ideas for a gorilla esk monster that would sit square on a terminator base? i could just green stuff the head and use some extra kroot and parts to make the gun.

Since the Tau hire mercenaries, they could equally hire alien 'steeds' (instead of Krootox) for the Kroot to ride, presuming the Kroot don't mind.

So you could use almost any 40K/WHFB beasty that fits on a 40mm base, then add a big gun and a Kroot gunner. Some of the WHFB trolls might have a suitable pose?
