hi guys I'm new to the forum and the Necrons so any help would be very much appreciated
this is what i have so far

this all i have so far and it comes to 1285pts. what else should i add, and should i change anything i have already?
any input would be much appreciated

Zahndrekh is best w/ a bunch of Warriors and 1 Cryptek w/ a chronoton.

Are you moving that Stalker up w/ the army? If it is staying back put the twin hvy gauss on it. 36' range.

Ok thank you I will change my HQ choices as for the stalker he will prob hang back as he is av 13 for first hit then goes down to av 11 that still leaves me 225 pts where do you think they should go?

I'd suggest a couple of changes:

First, you dont have enough troops - warriors tend to be squishy and given the number of objective missions you probably won't be able to shepherd them around with the Ghost ark.

If you are starting out, then suggest you grab some immortals, because if you rip the legs and chests off some of your warriors you can make both deathmarks and immortals out of the one box.

the deathmark with veiltek (harbringer of Despair with veil of darkness) or "D&D squad" will provide you with some fun!

Zahndrek is best when you use his buffs properly. Make sure you use all the buffs every turn. So, furious charge on scarabs is helpful if you want to kill some troops, stealth for wraiths etc. I don't think you should change the HQ - Z is good value imho.

Overall, looking at the list there doesnt' seem to be enough of anything. 3 wraiths is probably not enough - ditto for the blades.

As for the stalker, cool model, but most of your big guns are already twin linked and there aren't enough troops to make it worthwhile. Add a buttload more guns!

I totally understand your desire to field the stalker but it's sadly just not as cool as it looks. I would consider adding a resurrection orb in there somewhere if you can. 5+ reanimation protocols aren't that great.

iirc Zahndrek already has an orb, so you are covered there.

I like the list better, would perhaps swap one (or 2) squads of warriors for Immortals (take out the scarabs). I guess the question is do you like it better?

When you play, you'll need to consider how the tomb blades work for you and whether you may be better off with something else. EG. you could swap the tomb blades for a pair of spyders to buff your scarabs (plus a couple of MC is helpful).

awwww, those are my favorite units.

I like the combo of scarabs, spyders and Zahndrek too!

I haven't used tomb blades because don't have the models. What do you think they add to a list?

I might try swapping some warriors for immortals I would really like to run the tomb blades just because I think they look cool as well but if they don't work out for me ill go for the spyders with scarabs
