Very well painted indeed.
Not that I could do anywhere near as good as this but I find it a bit cartoony, so not really a criticism since the intended style is executed perfectly!

Okay, I have to say this because I've been staring at this model for the last two days...

Without a doubt, this is some of the highest quality NMM I've seen; the kind that makes you double take on whether or not it actually is metallic paint or not. I love the comic book like style... and frankly, in the future, I'm hoping to be able to emulate this to some small degree, as I do like the smooth feeling that NMM gives. If you have any tips or techniques you'd be willing to share, I am reasonably certain that I'm not the only one who'd enjoy seeing them.

Simply superb... and the fact I know how small that particular model is makes me all the more impressed. Well done.

Thanks a lot !
Second meteor will be finished within few days.

I surely can give you a tip, but forgive me, i`m too lazy to do a video guide or something like that.

Here is how armor comes out:
I have sprayed mini with black then white priming.
Then i have done mixes on wet palitre. And stongly dillute them with water about 2 parts of water : 1 of color
First step mixes (all Vallejo MC, i strongly recomend Vallejo for this tech as they dry little longer , and this matter):
1)Green gray 886 , 2)Green Gray + Grey Green 866, 3)Grey Green 4) Grey green + Black 5) Black + little of grey green
Then i choose some small element. If it something big like shoulder - i divide it on imaginery little parts.
On this small element i put first green gray on zone where the strongest highlight must be. I start brush movements from center to most shadow direction, so on this side color still slighltly wet,
Then, while first color still weet i add second color, going further, then thir, fourth and five.
And i mix them right on the mini surface.
Blending is dumb work - it takes a lot of time and gives only common result.
This tech is taking more skills with brush accuracy and concentration , but it gives fast and very smooth result.
But its not the end,
After First Step is done, there is a second.
I have mix another five color mixes, also strongly dilluted
1- Green gray + Dark Green 2- Green Gray 3- Green Gray + Pastel green 885 4 -Pastel Green 5- Pastel green + white
Starting with middle brigh parts on elements (i paint one little element after another ) i start with 2 Green Gray and while its still wet, rapidly add 3 , while 3 on 2 still wet add 4 , while its still wet add 5.

Then glazing! You can use a lot of colors, but there i have used only Goblin Green GW in mid tones.

Then Rehighliht with Pastel Green and White. With pure white as finish.

Then little scratches : While second step mixes stayed on palette you also mix Green gray + black. Do the scrathes and highlight them on the lower border

Done.

I was little sleepy yesterday, so maybe i wasn`t talking clear enough with this little guide. Ask what you don`t understand, so i can correct that. Note, tech that i was talking about is similiar to this http://www.coolminiornot.com/articles/1058-blending-tutorial but in our case you`ll need gradient ( i use rough gradient from priming) and need five colors to fast wet mix on the surface of mini, not two.

Wow, that's really in depth. But thank you! I'll be trying out that technique soon.
