This probably gets asked a lot but i'm looking for heads similar to Death Korps so i can convert basic Guardsmen. I've found several but nothing I like in comparison. I want it to say "hey i'm Death Korps" but not be FW.

"I want it to say "Hey I'm from Death Korps" but not from FW" -- Good Luck, I understand DKoK are expensive in the quantity needed to build an entire army, but in all reality you are not going to find something that really screams Death Korps outside of buying Death Korps. Just my opinion, everyone seems to shy away from FW because of the price tag, but if that's what you want, just pony up the $$.

I really do like the great coats from wargames factory. I feel I may be starting a guard army using them one day. Plus they are good for a cheap price and you can probably pick up a box of gun bits off ebay for not that much if you don't like the guns.

It's probably a touch to late to say, but if you really want it to look DKoK, then just stump up the cash - it's worth it as i'll say the detail is really crisp on FW models. I've looked at pig-iron etc, but it just looks... melted, in terms of detail.

Forge World also sells the Cadians with gas masks.

You might also want to check out Victoria Miniatures, as they sell gas masks that strap over existing heads. Haven't tried them yet, but I just ordered some and will know hopefully by next week. They also make steampunk-looking goggles that strap over existing heads too.

Haven't seen the Secret Weapon head swaps yet, but they sell like 4 kinds of gas mask head. Their other stuff is great, I'm probably going to risk some gas mask heads from them as they look nice and crisp.

I agree about the Pig Iron heads. Melted looking. I just wasn't happy with them.

Can't get them individually, but you might be able to get them from people as spares. Eisenkern Stormtroopers from Dreamforge Games.
