Checkout my completed army! Just wrapped up a weekend of playing Eldar, Chaos Marines, and Tau! Had a great time, and managed to never lose a match! Not sure what I'll paint next, I'm a fan of the Triarch Stalker, the Tomb Blades, and of course, the Monolith! For the time being, I'll be applying static grass and cleaning up some of the models. Everything is just tabletop standard, as this project was a rush to complete for the aforementioned weekend of gaming.

The scheme:
I'm not a big fan of the metal and green Necron scheme, but love the models, so I perused schemes for quite awhile before settling on this one. I had seen the Thokt scheme in the codex, but it didn't catch my fancy until I saw what Soul of Iron did with it - Then I was hooked! I adapted it to my own liking, but have to give the guy credit for a great scheme that's a lot of fun to paint!

Apologies for the blurry photos, my phone camera isn't great, and the photos appeared sharper on my smaller phone screen (resolution!) prior to upload.

Oooh, I do like Necrons with blue lighting. It works particularly well on the Command Barge and the Scarabs

Well met, fellow Phaeron!

Your army looks gret, very menacing, the black, bone and blue, very cold and intimidating. Shame that most of the pictures are to unsharp to make out the details, but what I can see, I like!

How many lawyers does it take to change a light bulb?

I love your color scheme. Your glow effects are simple and understated, which is how they should be. Personally, I prefer my scarabs in a carpet rather than a pile, but that's a personal decision.

Thanks for all the kind words gents! I think once they're all static grassed I may attempt some pictures with a backdrop, new camera, and lighting - I work in lighting for christ sake! - so I don't really have an excuse for the blurry photos. I was just eager to get some out!
