Aside from bonded warjacks, of course.
Sorry, I DO play Cyngar but I couldn't find any other generic forum aside from the 'rules questions'.
When I think campaign, I think of rules that give benefits for units (not just 'jacks!) that live; rules, however minor, for conquering and holding territory, and that sort of thing.
Do you have any history with this? Failing that, got anywhere that I might adapt from?

The 'Campaign' idea you are thinking of, if your a 40K or Fantasy player, are called 'Leagues' in Warmachine/Hordes.
Privateer Press offers 4-6 Leagues each year, with a League kit with patches, scorecards, rules for unique League models, and online support/tracking of how the entire League is progressing around the world.
The current Season is Machinations. The entire league revolves around the newest faction being released: The Convergence of Cyriss. As each League progresses, we (the players) get hints/teases and artwork of up coming Cyriss models. The first League is already over, but the next one kicks off April 29th.
Umbra: Feb 25th – March 25th
Anomaly: April 29th – May 27th
Entropy: July 1st – July 29th
Equilibrium: September 9th – October 7th
You can get the details here at the Organized Play tab on the Privateer Press site.

I know the leagues are good and they're neat. However, they're not the same; I was hoping for something with more of an option for large-scale strategy, maps, and so on. :\

The Leagues have those. Not this year, but the past couple of years have been all about grabbing and holding territory on internationally affected maps on-line. Also, I believe Escalation from MkI has a rule set for campaigns that should be easily adaptable to MkII.

In first edition, there were (IIRC) 4 actual campaigns:
1 rulebook w/ a 4-faction only version, strictly linear/narrative with bonuses for winning. I don't think there were any xp/attrition rules
2 rulebook ones and 1 in a magazine that were free-form, with all having the option of risk-style land grab, or or three objectives in sequence (win special scenarios in given locations). These had xp, minor advantages, and rules for attrition, warcasters going epic, and hiring mercs.
I haven't looked in a while, but I'm pretty sure the only major revisions needed to make these playable would be adapting the points to the new scale, and probably using certain factions as proxies (for objectives, which are faction-specific). It actually had nice rules for mercs where they actually expended resources differently, which I enjoyed.

I've seen some mulling about here and there, none that I really liked.
Some folks in my group are interested in maybe getting a campaign together, so I've been cobbling together a rules skeleton for our use.
It involves bonuses called "Battle Assets" that have points values, and you can add them proportionally to your primary list (think like reinforcements). If you're playing, say, a 15pt game you can bring 4pts of battle assets.
You unlock Battle Assets by capturing different towns/provinces, and completing different objectives on the strategic map.
For example, if you're Protectorate and you raze enough Morrowan temples you might unlock a Battle Asset that allows you to pay say, 8pts out of your battle assets pool to give your caster a new spell. Maybe something like Crusaders Call for pKreoss.
Each player starts with certain battle assets unlocked, so they're never at true disadvantage in a single match, they can still spend their BA points. However winning and finishing objects unlocks things that give you more options.
That's just a rough example I don't have any concrete rules hashed out but it's the what I've pitched to my group.

If there are pre-existing campaigns I'll make sure to take a look at those.
This map you mention - don't I need to be a press ganger to get access to that sort of thing? :\
And also, these all seem like decent options. Has anyone had any experience or balance thoughts with any WM campaigns?
