I'm hoping to get some wraithguard into my Eldar army, but I don't have enough money to buy the actual models for them.
I'm hoping to use around 10 of them, but I need something to convert them with. I saw somewhere that necron bodies are good,
but do you guys have any suggestions on how I can accomplish this? thanks!

Google shows that this is, unfortunately, a difficult conversion.

The best I have seen is a conversion here, which uses so many varied bits I suspect only the most dedicated kitbasher will have all of them.

Gavin Thorne has a conversion as well, which is here.

Finding a good source for Eldar conversions is always a pain...unless you go with other Eldar (or dark eldar...or some of the fantasy elves).

Unfortunately none of those work for wraithguard. The necron option is an old trick (think I saw the first one right after the Necron warriors were released). The necrons are a good bit shorter, and you need to sculpt (and likely cast unless you only need a few of them) heads, legs, weapons, chest, figure out how you want to make it taller (a lot of examples lengthen the abdomen, but I think longer shins looks better...with an extra mm or so in the thigh as well).

The thing is, once you do all of that...you almost have a whole new miniature. Instead, what I chose to do is to basically make a miniature version of the Wraithlord kit. Same design, just about half as large. Mold and then cast that. With the multiparts, you can pose the figures more easily...and it is easier to get Eldar proportions when compared to other options.

It might seem daunting, but it really goes pretty easily and if you have dreams of a Spirit Host...I cant think of a better way to do it. Even without casting, you can work out 10 of them in a weekend for little more than the cost of a ribbon of putty, some brass rod and copper wire.
