Subject: Tau Crisis Suit Weapons Upside Down?

I just realized after building my Crisis Suits and looking at the GW box of them that all of their Fusion Blasters and Plasma Rifles have their "canisters" on top where I've put their "canisters" hanging down... I know this is a tiny thing and not that important, but I'm nit picky and want them to be in the right position! Anyone know if Tau use them in either position or is there one right way?
Thanks!

There's no "right" way, really. The stealth suit models if I'm not mistaken also have the fusion blasters mounted with the canister pointing down because it won't fit on the suit the other way. Shadowsun's twin fusion blasters are the same way.
I imagine it doesn't really change how the weapon functions at all and it's purely an aesthetic choice.

I noticed that too, and same with Commander Farsight's Plasma Rifle, but I also noticed that it's only because they are placed on the bottom of their hands, and not on the side like on Crisis suits.

It doesn't really matter which way round the canisters go. On the bottom they are possibly more likely to get smacked into things, but on the top they might be a bit more likely to be hit by a stray round. Which do you prefer?

I put the canisters on the bottom because it looks like the magazine of a machine gun.
