I'm putting together a 1500 point list of nurgle demons for an upcoming tournament. I was wondering what people thought were the best rewards for nurgle heralds, plagueridden, plaguebringers and demon princes. (in terms of lesser, greater and exalted)

Well, you can't go wrong with Feel No Pain. The 2+ to wound is great on plaguebearers if they charge something you want dead now.

for heralds ( of any god) 1 lesser, 1 greater is how I would run, The greater table is good for give stat buffs and USRs, the lesser table is great for either getting a decent ranged weapon, or going for the default ap 2 magic weapn.

Someone needs to be carrying the Grimoire. As I like to have my MC double up on Greaters it is usually a Herald who carries it.

Other than the book, I usually take a Greater and a Lesser on my heralds and take the AP2 sword from whichever rolls the less useful reward.

Agreed about the Grimoire. give it to a herald but ALWAYS roll before you trade your roll. Nothing like rolling a 1 and getting a free lesser reward roll out of the deal
