Bit of help please, although I usually paint brown hair with my BA I would like to go blonde.

Not to sure which colours to use to acheive blonde rather than yellow!

I only have citadel paints so within that range if possible!

TIA

Here is my favorite tutorial for a few types of blonde hair. It uses PP mini's but that doesn't change the technique.

IF you are painting a big unit blonde, some shortcuts might be in order. I find drybrushing works just fine, especially when done early in the process of painting the mini.

Here are my 'blonde' painting recipies. I'm still using up my old GW paints, you'll have to make the translation to the new paints yourself.

Dark: Snakebite brown base, drybrush Bubonic Brown, drybrush Golden Yellow, glaze with 1/2 strength Devlan Mud

Light: Bubonic Brown base, drybrush Golden Yellow, drybrush Bleached bone, glaze with 1/2 strenght Devlan Mud.

For a strawberry blonde, glaze with a 5/4/1 water/Gryphonne Sienna/Baal Red (that was then red wash, right? I never ran out of red ink...) mix.

CHAOS! PANIC! DISORDER!
My job here is done.
