Ok So my very First DKoK unit has been painted and finished (aside from putting him on a Leman Russ but he's done anyway)

Just wanted to show him off a little, I'm kinda proud but it I don't think he's quite there yet (Luckily I have 2 more Commissar's that are on the chopping block neck)

Any Feedback and Critiquing would be greatly appreciated!!!

Believe it or not the great coat is actually a US Green that has been dusted to give it that dirty look. I think I am going to give them all the green great coat to have some unity to the army but the fatigues (pants and shirt where visable) will be the khaki color for officers and will stick with green for the enlisted). Then grenadiers will have a different color great coat to indicate a veteran squad.

Than was trying to come up with a way to indicate Infantry, Artillery, and Calvary. It crossed my mind to do something on there cuffs like two blue bands for Infantry, two red for artillery and 2 yellow for Calvary but have settled on it yet.

Damn, I wouldnt have known that was a green orginally, I really like it though and think its a great colour for your army.

So second Commissar is done and changed up the dusting effect on this one a little bit, went with something more natural to keep the Military green look in his coat more predominate. Still havn't tried the sleeve colors yet. Maybe will put them on the final one and see how it turns out.

Thanks Alot!! The bases are from Secret Weapons its there trench base. first one I've played with really. They actually look pretty good. My base painting isnt really up to par yet.

So this turned into a DKoK Commissar post more than anything lol. Finished the final Commissar tonight bout to start working on the HQ. I think im really enjoying this color scheme and it will transition into the rest of the army. Officers will continue to keep the Khaki colored uniforms with the Military green great coats and the leather brown boots, belt, gloves, and masks. Anyway thought Id put the last one up and get some advice on anything I may do better that I might have overlooked. Put this one on the standard GW Base just to see if I like them or the Secret Weapons bases better. Doesn't help that I've never been real good at basing.
