So I have been playing a casual Ravenwing list with 2x Nephilims in it, and I was hoping to get some idea what those 360 (wasted? lol) points would be best spent on for those games where the competition is a little fiercer.

So the list so far:

Sammael on Corvex

Ravenwing attack Squadron: 6 bikes, 2x Plasma gun, Attack Bike w/Multi-melta, Land Speeder Typhoon w/Multi-melta

Ravenwing attack Squadron: 6 bikes, 2x Plasma gun, Attack Bike w/Multi-melta, Land Speeder Typhoon w/Multi-melta

Ravenwing attack Squadron: 6 bikes, 2x Plasma gun, Land Speeder Typhoon w/Multi-melta

6 Black Knights: 2x Grenade Launchers

I'm thinking that the Command Squad is looking much more viable now that you can go up to 5 bikes.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Take two Contemptor Mortis platforms for AA.

I don't see the standard of Devastation. This is weak.

Command squads are cheaper than RWBKs by 2 pts per model, it adds up.
Plasma on bikers isn't that great I find, since you can get it from your Black Knights at the same price but with twin-linked.
Melta works fine and you'll be firing your bolters most of the time anyway.

I don't see the point of typhoons, they don't synergise with the banner or anything except a Darkshroud.
Darkshrouds are really optional, they don't really contribute that much at the end of the day aside from +1 to cover and combat res (the last is quite good, actually)
Consider taking the RW standard, auto-hit and run + 4d6 Hit and run is extremely good for 15 pts and wins games. Too many of my games have hinged on a hit and run roll.
4d6 H&R can catapult you across the board in a turn.
