Hey guys! like the title sais i have a question about a pose..

it's my baneblade commander. in hid left arm he's got a pair of binoculars and that's where the question come in.

what pose do you think looks best on him? binoculars up or binoculars down??

i'd really appreciate if you took your time to write for a minimun of just one word. "up" or "down" that's all i need. but the reason why you choose one of them would be awesome too.
i really can't decide for myself..

here's some examples

And also, you are very welcome to visit my thread! maybe drop a comment or two over there.
anyways! thanks for taking your time to help me out here.

Down, this looks more like he is looking where his vehicle is going and the rest of his platoon as well, he is waving the attack on and if he were looking through his field glasses he would not know the immediate area around him to be able to safely order his forces forward, but he has the field glasses ready to survey the area further away to continue the advance.

You may use anything I post, just remember to give me credit if used somewhere else.

I'd say up. To me the pose looks more like he's about to signal with his right arm and yell, "Fire!" He's using the binoculars to watch the shot hit the target.

Down for me too, opens him up more and appears as if he's about to either signal for firing or halt the company for a good 'ol barrage!

i will paint that arm separate so you don't have to worry about that but what pose do you think looks best on it modelingwise?

I honestly prefer them up, looks awesome like he is watching a hailstorm of artillery shells flying down from the sky.

This. Faces are an important focal point on models. Avoid covering them whenever possible.
